“How to express the sense of movement and wear on objects fascinates me. I’m also intrigued by the interplay of color, light and space. I’ve lived near the ocean for most of my life and I find that not only the sea, but objects in and on the sea, provide endless feelings and expressions of wear. I’ve also noted this character of evolution in natural elements on land, such as old trees and mountains. Often, the change and erosion is more beautiful than a pretty picture.
